Bio- Greta Johnson-Williams
Ms. Johnson-Williams has always had a passion for staffing and in 1980 that passion grew. During the early years of corporate downsizing, she saw a large number of highly-skilled, educated executive, managerial, and administrative professionals being downsized. She felt the need to help the displaced professionals and troubled corporations.
After witnessing the stock market fall in 1987, known as “Black Monday”, she decided to find a way to put highly educated workers in touch with companies that could utilize their skills on a project basis, so that they could keep working.
Today, Greta Johnson-Williams is President and CEO of The Diverse Placement Group, L.L.C., a minority/woman-owned staffing firm, which she founded in 1999. The Diverse Placement Group is headquartered in Royal Oak, Michigan and recruits executive, managerial, technical, clerical and manufacturing professionals for placement in Financial Services, Engineering, Healthcare, Human Resources, Information Technology, Insurance, Law, and Science.
